How you learn
- 01
Short lessons, written by hand
Sixteen kinds of exercise, every word spoken aloud, and a short call with Sofía at the end of every chapter. Lessons work offline.
- 02
Chat with Sofía and the characters
Type or send a voice message. They reply in the language you are learning, at your level, and fix your mistakes without stopping the conversation.
- 03
Video call your tutor
Talk to Sofía face to face with live captions and a hint one tap away. Try five short calls for free; Pro gives you up to 25 minutes a day.
Good to know
This is the Turkish of Istanbul. The first chapter teaches the letters English does not have (ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, ü) and vowel harmony, by ear. Typed answers know the difference between the dotted and dotless i.
Questions about this course
Can I practise speaking Turkish with an AI tutor?
Yes. You can chat with Sofía and the other characters in Turkish by text or voice message, and video call Sofía with live captions. They reply at your level and correct you kindly as you go.
Is Turkish hard for English speakers?
Less than it looks. It is written as it is said, has no gender and no word for “the”. The challenge is the endings, so the course adds them one at a time and only uses endings you have already learned.
How many words will I know after A1?
About 439 words and phrases by the end of A1, each one heard in Sofía's voice and used in conversation.
Is the Turkish course free?
Yes, to start: five lessons a day, chats with every character and five short video calls to try. Flowzy Pro adds unlimited lessons and up to 25 minutes of video calls a day.
